Lenless images are created without looking through a camera. Over the past couple of years, I have been creating lensless images using pinhole cameras. With the pinhole, there is no lens to look through so the work is about what I am viewing and where I am standing. The pinhole camera requires me to use a tripod no matter how bright the light is, which means I have to slow down and submerge myself in the scene.
On occasion, I will create Lensless images by making Lumen prints. The sun is used as the light source and makes a Photogram of an organic object on photographic paper that is used in the darkroom. After washing, a silhouette of the object is left on the paper.
